VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Your support is the “Backbone” of our Club

The club depends on volunteers to run.
If no one comes forward for the vacant positions on the committee the club will not be able to continue on,
as it will not be financially viable without your support.

Here is a breakdown on the vacant positions, and what each job may entail.

Secretary:    

Registration of players, communicating with SABL on an ongoing basis as
required, requesting permits for players, sending game results to SABL.                Forwarding mail and email on to required parties.

Assistant Secretary:

Taking of minutes at monthly committee meeting, sending out newsletters to       members. Printing of posters/flyers, assisting the secretary as needed.

Social Chairperson:

Organizing fundraising events, some of the events we have had in the past are quiz nights and bingo nights. Organizing our Foodland sausage sizzle at Christmas time and the children’s Christmas party. Distributing Freddo’s and collecting the money.

Bar Manager:
               
Purchasing and restocking the bar as needed, opening and closing the bar         during Thursday’s, Friday’s Saturday’s and Sunday’s as needed.
Serving patrons.

Canteen Manager:

Purchasing and restocking of canteen stock as needed, making a schedule of volunteer parents for game days. Opening and closing of canteen as needed.

I would like to appeal to all parents to please get involved in the club.
The club is only as good as its members and parent volunteer’s and after winning
two Division 1 Grand Finals back to back it would be a shame for us to
lose our club due to lack of parental support .
