KILLER B's DOMINATE ANGELS
Division 1: Port Adelaide posted their 4th win on the trot in a dominant offensive display against Adelaide on Sunday winning 11-3. Ross Bament, Kieren Bradford and Chase Burch combined for 12 Hits as the Magpies put up 11 runs on a combined 19 hits on what was a typical blustery day down at Semaphore.
The Magpies were again well served on the hill by lefty import Brian Fowler who improved to 3-2 on the season. Fowler completed 7 innings giving up 8 hits and 3 runs while striking out 4. Adam Crabb mopped up the final 2 innings without fuss.
Luke Rackebrandt and Chase Burch hit home runs with Rackebrandt's coming with 2 on in the second inning.
The win moves the Magpies into outright 5th position.
Hits: Bament 5, Bradford 4, Burch 3 (HR), Webster 2, C.Sims 2, Greutner 2, Rackebrandt 1 (HR).

Division 2: The Magpies got out of jail on Sunday against the winless Angels with a Luke Rackebrandt walk off hit winning the game for Port. Port Adelaide 7 defeated Adelaide 6.
A combination of defensive blunders, walks and bad baserunning allowed the Angels to stay in touch with the Magpies, who have now won 3 on the trot to put themselves in the mix for a top 6 spot.
Ross Chambers wasn't his normal sharp self although he did get through a scratchy 5 1/3 innings, Chambers gave up 6 hits and 4 free passes. David Sims cam on a picked up the win in relief getting the final 2 outs in the 6th.
